Instructions:
1. Yoke:
- Chain 72.
- Double crochet (dc) in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn.

2. Body:
- Divide the stitches into 3 sections: 24 sts for the front, 24 sts for the back, and 24 sts for the sleeves (72 sts total). Place stitch markers at the beginning and end of each section.
- Front: Work in dc in rows back and forth across the 24 front stitches until the desired length is reached (approximately 7″ from the yoke).
- Back: Work in dc in rows back and forth across the 24 back stitches until the desired length is reached (approximately 7″ from the yoke).
- Sleeves: Work in dc in rows back and forth across the 12 sleeve stitches until the desired length is reached (approximately 6″ from the armhole).
- Finishing: Slip stitch all three sections together at the shoulders.
3. Straps:
- Chain 40.
- Dc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn.
- Repeat row 2 until the strap measures approximately 10″.
- Repeat steps 1-3 to make a second strap.
- Sew the straps to the top corners of the back bodice.
4. Optional embellishments:
- Add a row of single crochet around the neckline and armholes.
- Add buttons or ties to the straps.
- Embroider a cute design on the front of the dress.
