Super Easy Crochet Heart Napkin and Table Motif Pattern

Materials:

Instructions:

Method 1: Simple Heart Motif

  1. Start with a magic ring: Make a slip knot, leaving a 6-inch tail. Wind the yarn around your index finger twice, insert your hook under both loops, grab the yarn with your hook, and pull through to create a loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops again to tighten the ring.
  2. Round 1: Chain 2 (counts as a double crochet), 12 double crochets into the magic ring. Slip stitch into the top of the first double crochet to join the round. (13 stitches)
  3.   4. Round 3: Chain 2, single crochet in each stitch around. Slip stitch into the top of the first single crochet to join the round. (17 stitches)
  5. Finish: Fasten off, leaving a long tail for weaving in the end. Weave in all ends securely.

Method 2: Puffy Heart Motif

  1. Start with a magic ring: Same as Method 1.
  2. Round 1: Chain 4 (counts as a double crochet), 8 double crochets into the magic ring. Slip stitch into the top of the first double crochet to join the round. (9 stitches)
  3. Round 2: Chain 2, 2 double crochets in each stitch around. Slip stitch into the top of the first double crochet to join the round. (18 stitches)
  4. Round 3: Chain 2, puff stitch, single crochet repeat around. Slip stitch into the top of the first puff stitch to join the round. (18 stitches)
  5. Puff stitch: Yarn over 3 times, insert hook into stitch, grab yarn and pull up a long loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and pull through remaining 3 loops.
  6. Round 4: Chain 2, single crochet in the single crochet, puff stitch in the puff stitch repeat around. Slip stitch into the top of the first single crochet to join the round. (18 stitches)
  7. Finish: Repeat Rounds 3 and 4 for desired puffiness. Fasten off, weave in ends.
